Australian tennis is highly competitive from Junior level to the pinnacle of Grand Slam tours and everything in between.

At Tennis World Rushcutters they can offer private and group coaching to help every level of the game giving you the support tailor made to your requirements.

The Australian Pro Tour

Every year for over 36 weeks the Pro Tour, Australian Money Tournaments and the Asia-Pacific League offer week in – week out competitive opportunities to earn world ranking points and prize money in regional and metropolitan areas across seven States and Territories of Australia.

The Australian Tour offers opportunities for established and up-and-coming players to play the game and compete against some of the top players in Australia.

  • Event categories:

ITF $15k / ITF 15k + H / ITF $50k (Women) / ATP $50K (Men) / money tournaments / league competition.

  • Surfaces:

All Grand Slam surfaces; hardcourt, plexicushion, natural grass and clay.

  • Venues

Regional and Metropolitan events at well established and experienced venues, meeting international standards.

  • Circuits

Each group of events is within the same region of Australia with money tournaments placed in the same region leading into and throughout the Pro Tour events.

Pro Tour Advantages

The Pro Tour is a player’s best introduction to the world of professional tennis. It is the vital link between the junior ranks and the top-level WTA and ATP Tours.

The Tour is the next step up for both junior and senior plays playing at club level. It provides a perfect framework for international players to spend a year in Australia competing, it’s other big advantage is it’s close proximity to the Pro events in Asia.

The regional events are staged in some of the best areas in Australia, providing players the opportunity to take some time in between competition to spend some time sightseeing some of Australia’s most iconic landmarks.

ATP Men’s Challengers

Challenger events are individual, single-week tournaments offering prize money from USD$50,000 for men (ATP World Tour) and USD$25,000 for women (ITF)

ITF Women’s Circuit Events

An ITF Women’s $10,000, $15,000 or $25,000 is the first step towards a professional tennis career. Players receive appropriate round ranking points.

ITF Men’s Future Events

Futures Events are individual, single-week men’s tournaments with an ITF minimum requirement of conducting two consecutive events with prize money of USD$15,000 or three consecutive events with prize money of USD$10,000.

Open Tournaments

Tournaments such as Australian Money Tournaments (AMT’s) that offer prize money and are open to all players. Many Pro Tour tournaments also incorporate an AMT either in the lead up to, during or after the completion of the Pro Tour event.

It is without doubt that the Australian Pro Tours are held in high esteem around the world and they all carry world ranking points as part of the overall benefits. They have helped to establish many of Australia’s top tennis players.
